Entry Door Restoration
Woodland Windows & Doors is pleased to offer restoration and refinishing services on your existing entry doors. We will come to your home, assess the condition of the exterior door(s) current stain or paint and give you a quote to restore it based on the service needed and the style of entry you have. The conditions of the doors are classified as:
Level 1 – Condition needs to be in like new; no signs of fading color, slight dullness of finish coat. Solution: apply top coat after cleaning fiberglass or wood surface(s) with mineral spirits.
Level 2 – Conditions shows sign of fading stain color and finish (possibly caused by southern or western exposure). Solution: lightly sand all surfaces with a soft steel wool; clean with mineral spirits; apply original stain color to all surfaces and top coat.
Level 3 – Condition shows bare fiberglass or wood surface area; stain and finish fading; finish can be rubbed off by simply scraping with fingernail. Solution: completely remove stain and finish with remover; clean with mineral spirits; re-stain with original color and top coat.
