This was my first experience with a major house project. Woodland offers a "window school" were interested customers can get information about types of windows and the Woodland process. It was very informative and I received a coupon for $25 off. I called to ask for an estimate. A salesperson came to my house did the necessary measurements and showed me different types and styles of windows, doors, locks, etc. After making selections he gave me the estimate that evening for the windows. The windows were installed about 2 weeks later. About a month later I repeated the process for the front door and storm door. The process went very well. Woodland uses no subcontractors. All workers are their employees. This project has helped me lower my heating and cooling costs.

I went to Woodland Windows and Doors to purchase windows to install myself. I just needed Woodland to come out and do a "professional measure" to ensure that I was correct with the measurements I took. Rano was more than willing to help me and even did hand sketches in my home for my wife and I to see the difference between a normal sill and the larger size. Being a custom cabinet maker and very well versed with the trades, I chose to install the windows myself. From the start, Rano was more than helpful and provided a wealth of information. If I didn't understand something, he tried to explain it a different way so we were on the same page. In our last home, my wife and I purchased our windows from another company. I did a price comparison and Woodland was the better deal on the Marvin Ultimate Clad double hung windows…  We have several more windows and doors to do and plan to purchase them from Woodland.
